Responsible Minerals Statement

SMAC Company is committed to responsible and ethical sourcing of minerals and to respecting human rights throughout our supply chain. We support international efforts to prevent the extraction and trade of minerals from contributing to armed conflict, human rights abuses, corruption, or environmental harm.
In line with the EU Conflict Minerals Regulation (EU) 2017/821 and the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas, SMAC works with its suppliers to promote transparency and responsible sourcing of tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold (3TG).
We expect our suppliers to:
  • Conduct appropriate due diligence on mineral sources and supply chains
  • Source 3TG minerals from responsibly operated and audited smelters and refiners where possible
  • Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and customer codes of conduct
SMAC is committed to continuous improvement in its responsible minerals program and to working collaboratively with suppliers and customers to support ethical and sustainable supply chains.
