Electric Linear Slide Actuator - Programmable in force, speed and position.

Linear Slide Actuators

SMAC provides a comprehensive selection of electric linear slide actuators. The slide versions are based upon on the LAL series linear actuator and their performance characteristics are largely the same.

They are compact in overall size and, and as with all SMAC actuators have a combination of force, position and velocity control with feedback. High or low speed and precise positioning with high repeatability make them ideal for applications such as parts feeding, scanning, testing, and measuring in wide range of industries.

Standard linear resolution on all SMAC actuators is 5µm with 1µm, 0.5µm and 0.1µm options available on most models. Please contact us with any special requirements you may have.

NOTE: SMAC requires that all units must be operated at less than 40% maximum duty cycle. Please see the Tech Info/Set up Information page or manual for further explanation on how to calculate duty cycle.

We manufacture actuators to suit our customers' requirements. Please call us if you do not find the right actuator in this list.

Options and Modifications:

Encoder resolutions 5µm standard, 1µm, 0.5µm and 0.1µm optional for most units. Consult factory for availability.
Return spring Prevents the shaft from dropping during vertical operation when power is cut.
Increase of maximum force and acceleration 48 volt coil and double coil options are available for some units with 24 volt single coil. Please consult factory for availability.
Increase of force accuracy and lifetime Extra long life linear guide / Low friction linear guide
