Technical Sales Manager (Seoul, Korea)

Primary Objectives & Key Activities:

  • Provide advanced technical sales and solution support to distribution partners and customers
  • Provide pre-sales technical review and approval to Sales Management

Automation Technician (Germany)

Primary Qualifications & Professional Knowledge:

  • We are seeking a successful automation technician who knows servomotors and how to program them.

Job Functions:

SMT Inspector (Hampstead, New Hampshire)

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Visually inspect SMT assemblies to IPC-610 workmanship standards
  • Perform basic soldering and rework of SMT components
  • Perform through-hole soldering and some mechanical assembly as well as final inspection
  • Operate through hole wave solder pot
  • Record defects in accordance with IPC-610 workmanship standard
Qualifications:

Maintenance Technician (Carlsbad, CA)

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Repair of production equipment and facilities equipment due to occasional breakdowns. These primarily include Extrusion machines and CNC lathes and mills, but also includes various other types of electrical/mechanical equipment
  • Troubleshooting of electrical/mechanical equipment malfunctions
  • Work with Equipment Manufacturers’ technical support in troubleshooting of various electrical and mechanical equipment malfunctions to accomplish repairs as needed

  • Installs new/relocated equipment and required utilities (air, water, electric)

CNC Operator/Deburrer (Carlsbad, CA)

Full time openings for 1st and 2nd shift CNC Operator/Deburrer.  Previous experience for this position not required.  Training provided. This position reports to CNC Shop Manager

Job Duties:

  • Cut raw material to be machined

Quality Inspector (Carlsbad, CA)

This position reports to Area QC Leader and/or Quality Manager.
 
Function:
  • Responsible for performing overall quality inspector tasks per QMS procedures and forms Works directly with Quality Control lead and/or Manager, production leads and Engineering
  • Inspection of purchased products and/or SMAC machined parts
  • Primary responsibility is to confirm machined parts meet specifications called out on applicable drawings throughout the internal and external bead blast and plating process. This needs to be performed with precision and in a timely manner including generating applicable inspection reports
Compensation:
  • This is a Full Time, 1st shift position, paying $13 per hour
Education
  • High School Diploma
Required Experience

  • Inspect production parts tolerance; including fist article, in process and finished lots
  • Perform Inspections to confirm parts meet specifications, and quality documentation requirements
  • Assist with calibration, internal audits, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and other production and administrative tasks
  • Inspect and maintain measurement equipment and other inspection/production tools
  • Read, understand and translate drawings, as needed, keeping informed of modifications that affect inspection, calibration, or production

Electric Motor Sales Manager (Carlsbad, CA)

SMAC has developed a high torque DC servomotor with an output estimated to be triple that of (same size, current and voltage) the leading motor makers.  
 
SMAC is now tooling up this product line with initial high interest from leading manufacturers and robot makers around the globe.  Reasonable material cost and efficient production offers the opportunity to make a million motors a year.  
 
SMAC sells strictly through a distribution system with locations around the world, many already sell competitor products.  A number of these distributors have been approached and their feedback is that the current market needs lacks a small, high torque motor.  
 
SMAC has a strong market position and understanding of electric linear actuators.  However, with less experience in the small DC servomotor market, the Company is looking to hire a Sales Manager that can penetrate deep into this market.  
 
The market for these motors is estimated at around $2 billion annually, SMAC aims to obtain a 10% market share within 5 years of product launch.  
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with SMAC’s 6 sales Area Managers (2 each in US, Europe and Asia) in sales development of this new product
  • Team with channel partners to develop sales with larger volume customers located globally
  • Work closely with Design and Marketing to tailor this new line to customer needs
  • Travel with distributors to end user facilities
Qualifications: 
  • Minimum 10yrs experience selling rotary DC motors
  • Must have network of industry relevant contacts with diverse applications
  • Bachelors – Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Technically savvy with electric motors, specifically DC rotary
  • 10yrs experience selling through distribution/channel partners and development of new distributors
